Geumhyung Jeong: Under Repair (2021)
The works displayed at It’s Just a Phase, collectively entitled Under Repair, were initially constructed for Geumhyung Jeong’s solo exhibition Homemade RC Toy at Kunsthalle Basel in 2019. With the physical involvement as a key element in her process, Jeong engages her background in dance and choreography when realising these DIY technologies, as the works develop through a nurturing process of experimentation and intricate assemblage inside the exhibition space.
